Check out this little guy's mischievous grin. Remember, Santa's watching! But in all seriousness, these two kids were so sweet and cute. I'm sure Santa will find out they were VERY nice!

Another family ready for Christmas

This wonderful family was so photogenic! They looked gorgeous in their holiday apparel. The kids were so cooperative---what great smiles! Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful home!

Santa's elves

These two adorable kiddos were all decked out for Christmas---Santa hat and all. You could tell this brother-sister duo had a warm relationship by the way they displayed affection and made each other laugh. It was wonderful being able to capture that connection in their photos.

Another beautiful family

There's no better way to spend Thanksgiving weekend than by being around beautiful families who love each other. As you can see, that's what we did. This family was over-the-top wonderful to work with, and my goodness, what gorgeous girls they have. Thank you so much for letting us photograph you all!

Seasoned clients

Last month, we were so happy to photography a brand-new baby Mark. This week, we got to photograph Mark's siblings! It is always so wonderful to revisit clients and see what they're up to.

Angel Outtakes

We finally decided on a photo for our blog header, yay! I thought it would be fun to show a few outtakes from when I shot it.

I had to get my settings and lighting correct, of course, which involved taking several test shots. My little model thought he'd relax and take a call or two from his agent.


The photo we decided on looks so serene and calm, so "angelic," right? HA! I had to bribe the kiddo to sit still. You'd never know that he's playing with all sorts of things back there: Goldfish crackers, a cell phone, two blocks, and a pen (yeah, dumb on my part, letting a child play with a pen on a white chair!).

Even with all those goodies, he always seemed ready to bolt the heck outta there.

What a fun session this was. Taken on one of the last nice nights of the year at Lakeside (168th and Center; great location during warm weather). A perfect father-son shot. Happy almost-winter everyone!

The Three Amigos

Each of these three kiddos was an absolute joy to work with. Their personalities were all so different, and all so wonderful. Perfect little models for us! It is seriously hard to pick favorites, but here's a sneak peek of how the session went.

Little Mark was only five days old when we got to photograph him. He was absolutely adorable! We enjoyed taking photos of him when he was awake, and he was an absolute dream when he was asleep. Here are some of our favorites. Newborns rock!
